Everything you need to manage properties, transfers, and device connections in Proprelay. Public service overview
Create a property
From your dashboard, click Add Property. Each home gets a dedicated @proprelay.app address for future email routing.
Transfer ownership
Owners can start a transfer from the property page. The recipient accepts on their dashboard, reviews the handover summary, then completes onboarding.
Share access
Invite managers (can edit and connect devices) or viewers (read-only) from the Access panel on any property you own.
Connect Home Assistant
Paste your instance URL and a long-lived access token. Proprelay stores the token encrypted and shows entity counts on the Devices panel.
Connect Philips Hue
Press the link button on your Hue bridge, enter its local IP, and connect. Lights appear in the Devices panel once paired.
Connect Google Home
Link your Google account from the property page. Account linking works today; full device sync requires Google Home API access.
Amazon Alexa
OAuth integration is planned next.
Subscription & billing
Free includes 1 property. Home ($4.99/mo) adds the IoT dashboard for 1 property. Portfolio ($150/mo) adds unlimited properties and $99 transfers. Change subscription from the plans page.
Email forwarding
Each property has a dedicated @proprelay.app address. On the property page, set Forward to and enable forwarding. Aliases sync to ImprovMX automatically. To test, email the property address from a different inbox than your forward-to address — sending from the same Gmail to itself often lands in spam due to Google loop detection.
Two-account test checklist
- Create two accounts and confirm each only sees their own properties.
- Invite account B as viewer — confirm read-only on the property page.
- Invite account B as manager — confirm edit and device connect work.
- Start a transfer from account A, accept on account B, and verify handover + onboarding.
- Connect Home Assistant and confirm entity count on the Devices panel.
- Connect Hue bridge and confirm lights appear.
- Link Google account and confirm it shows as connected.
- Email a property @proprelay.app address from a different inbox and confirm it forwards.
